The mango tree (Mangifera indica) has come to symbolise good fortune, safety and privilege for many cultures. More recently the use of mango wood for carvings is becoming increasingly popular throughout Asia.

 

All mango wood products in this catalogue are sourced from controlled, sustainable mango plantations. Our original designs of handcrafted mango wood products are the work of master artisans.

In response to our customers we are constantly adding new product ranges to our catalogue. We can produce and design mango wood items and wood carvings to your specification.

 

The example on the right is a wood plates made from monkey-pod wood. This type of wood when appropriately finished and coated is resilient to washing and makes an interesting and safe food plate.

Our gallery and showroom displays a large number of products ranging from wood carvings and paintings, by local Thai artists, to original Thai antiques and objects d'art.

 

Many of these items are "one-off" peices that cannot by their very nature be reproduced.

 

These and many more items are available for viewing at our showroom in Nimanheiman Road, Chiangmai. Antiques for sale are available with export licences where required.
